A DRIVER of a Honda Civic could have their vehicle confiscated if they drive their car in an anti-social manner, police in Chudleigh have said.
Following community concerns in the town, officers have issued a Section 59 warning to a driver for driving in an anti-social manner with a loud exhaust.
A Section 59 warning is issued when a vehicle is used in a manner causing alarm, distress or annoyance.
If the vehicle or driver is seen again within 12 months driving in the same way, the vehicle can be seized by police.
A spokesperson for the Ashburton and Chudleigh Policing Team said: ‘We have listened and we have acted.
‘We will continue to take action against anti-social driving.
‘Please continue to report anti-social behaviour and crime to us so we can act on your concerns’.
