THE Core Strategy Development Plan containing proposals for a further 7,500 homes in Newton Abbot – 9,000 including Kingsteignton and Kingskerswell – in the next 20 years, would have a massive impact, Cllr Kelvyn Shantry told Newton Abbot Town Council on Wednesday.

'Yes this is a Teignbridge Council product but we are town councillors and we should be all over this for the town. As a town council we must have a view,' he said.
