A SLIMMING World group in Newton Abbot is celebrating national recognition after receiving one of the organisation’s highest honours.

The Wednesday morning group at Bradley Community Centre, led by consultant Julie Scoines, has been awarded the prestigious Slimming World Diamond Award.

The accolade recognises exceptional support for members, outstanding weight-loss results and a strong sense of community spirit.

The award places the Newton Abbot group among the top-performing Slimming World groups in the UK.

Julie, known to members as Jules, said she was delighted by the recognition.

‘I am absolutely over the moon’, she said.

‘My morning group is full of the most supportive, determined and caring people. They lift each other up every single week. To see that recognised nationally is just incredible. They are all diamonds to me, and now the whole country knows it too’.

Adding to the celebrations, Jules has also been named a Diamond Consultant, an individual honour recognising her commitment to helping members achieve long-term weight-loss success and healthier lifestyles.

The award-winning group meets every Wednesday morning at Bradley Community Centre and is now welcoming new members.

Jules said anyone considering joining would receive a warm welcome.
