The new owner of Newton Abbot's Launa Windows is looking for new premises, just days after buying the firm, writes Dawn Ellis.

LW South West Ltd, which purchased the established Bradley Lane business, is also now looking to employ 40 new staff, after 60 were made redundant when Launahurst Ltd, which ran Launa Windows, went into administration last month.

It is not known how many will be employed from across the district.

'We have an option to stay in the existing premises, but the current building isn't well suited to a modern business,' said Shane Binding, design and marketing manager at Britannia Windows, part of LW South West Ltd.
