POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a vehicle was stolen from Heathfeild.

The vehicle was stolen from Dragoon Close at Heathfield Industrial Estate sometime between Friday, September 19 and Monday, September 22.

Over this period a lorry parked in a secure compound was damaged and diesel fuel stolen from the fuel tank, Devon and Cornwall Police say.

Anyone with information or CCTV in the area is asked to contact police via their website or by calling 101 quoting 50250245766.

‘We are also asking that those who are responsible for industrial units and that may have a commercial fleet, to take all reasonable precautions to protect their property and premises from such crimes’, says a spokesperson for the force.
