Dawlish Stamp Club held its 2021 annual meeting later than normal due to the lock down.
The club has fared very well during the current year by keeping in contact with its membership via its ZOOM meetings on a monthly basis.
New members have been encouraged to join the club and many friends have been made outside the area.
Face to face meetings have now started again but ZOOM meetings will still take place, hence there will now be two meetings per month.
Following the annual meeting exhibits of 1d Blacks, 1d Reds and 2d Blues were shown, plus examples of the vended stamps issued in the British Post Office Museum and some very interesting 1st Day Covers from Canada. The clubs next ZOOM meeting will be on 27th October featuring The Stamps of East Germany.
The next main meeting will be on November 10 when the West of England Thematic will be featuring some of its work. More information can be obtained on the clubs website including the link for the Zoom meetings. Visitors to club meetings are always welcome and more information can be obtained by calling 01626 864844.
