This year marks a special milestone for Westcountry HR, as the Newton Abbot-based business celebrates 10 years of providing practical HR support to businesses across Devon and Cornwall.

Founded in 2016 by HR Director and Consultant Nicki Bidgood, Westcountry HR was created with a simple aim: to make experienced, professional HR advice accessible to small and medium-sized businesses.

Ten years later, that vision remains at the heart of the business.

What started as a one-person Consultancy has grown into a trusted HR Partner for businesses across the region. For the past three years, Nicki has been joined by HR Adviser Lauren, who has become an integral part of the Westcountry HR team.

Lauren works closely with Clients, providing practical advice and support across a wide range of HR matters. Her knowledge and approachable style complement Nicki’s experience, allowing the business to continue providing a personal service while supporting an expanding Client base.

Westcountry HR supports employers with all aspects of people management, including employee relations, absence, recruitment, performance management, disciplinary and grievance matters, employment contracts, policies and restructuring.
