FIT2RUN coach Mandi Robson and Meriden Robson, who is based at RAF Lossiemouth, ran the Inverness Half Marathon this weekend.

This was Mandi's 99th half and Meriden’s first, even dad Paul ran his first ever 5k. Meriden & Mandi raised in excess of £1000 between them for MND association.

This popular half marathon route was described as flat and picturesque and was run in beautiful weather with both the beginning and end alongside the River Ness - although both also reported there were some inclines!

On the same day, three other coaches from the group, Tracey Anders (2:11), Alison Richards (2:14), and Michaela Snell (2:12), ran the Bideford half marathon alongside Sarah Reynolds (2:13), in a field of over 1,000 runners.

They reported good running conditions. great organisation and support, with a superb atmosphere at the end, including music.

Sarah was using this as a training run for the London Marathon in April, where she is representing and raising money for the MS Society.
