BATH half had a field of 15000 runners and amongst them was FIT2Run member Vanessa Zalman, together with five colleagues from Olympus Power, an Exeter based renewable energy business.

The course was two laps and largely flat with a couple of notable exceptions, including to the finish which by all accounts was an absolute killer.

The Olympus team ran for a local homeless charity 'Julian House' and have managed to raise over £1,500 which is fantastic.

FIT2Run is a friendly, Ladies only running group that meets at The Recreational Trust in Newton Abbot every week, Tuesday and Thursday at 6.45pm, inside the main bar area.

They welcome runners of all abilities. Why not go along and try it out...whether you want to compete, improve your overall fitness or are looking for a friendly group to run and socialise with, it may be just what you are looking for.
