THREE fire crews tackled a fire in the floor at a cafe in Kennford at the weekend.

Teams from Topsham, Middlemoor and Danes Castle rushed to tackle a fire in flooring at the Haldon Forest Park cafe at 10am on Sunday.

A small area of flooring was cut away to deal with the incident.

A fire spokesman said a bucket of water was used to extinguish the small blaze.

Thermal imaging gear was used to check the fire was no longer active.

The cause of the blaze was accidental.
