THERE was a second car fire on the A38 this afternoon (Friday).

This time crews from Danes Castle and Middlemoor dealt a fire on the A38 near Kennford at around 2.30pm.

A Fire Control spokesperson said: ‘The fire was extinguished using two breathing apparatus, and one hose reel jet.

‘The cause of the fire was accidental.’
