A Battle of Britain Commemoration, with wreath laying ceremony, will take place in Teignmouth tomorrow, September 16.
The commemoration will start at 10.15am at the War Memorial on the sea front.
There’ll be a live performance by Amanda Cooke singing World War 2 music from 10.15am prior to the service at 10.45am.
The service will be led by Brian Hall MBE, chairman of the Teignmouth Remembrance Committee. Town Mayor Cllr June Green will lead the wreath laying ceremony.
Following the Last Post and Reveille, the Devon and Cornwall Armed Forces Bikers will do a ride past tribute.
Everyone is welcome to attend the ceremony.
Later in the day the Royal Air Forces Association Concert Band will be presenting a ‘Music in the Air’ concert in the Pavilions, at 3pm. Tickets for the concert are available from the Pavilions Box Office.
