THE newly reopened Strand Centre in Dawlish is opening its doors for people to celebrate the Royal wedding today.

Following the £50,000 refurbishment of the United Reformed Church in The Strand, the centre will be showing the wedding on a large screen.

Organisers are inviting anyone along who wants to watch the big event with others rather than on their own.

Doors open at 10.30am in time for tea or coffee.

After the wedding, there will be a buffet lunch and special wedding cake.
