A DRIVER escaped unhurt after her car spun round on the A38 and hit the crash barrier.
The accident happened just past the Dean Prior turn off on the Exeter-bound carriageway when the VW Lupo was also in collision with a works vehicle carrying out resurfacing before coming to rest on the central reservation.
Police were called just after 1pm on Wednesday.
The woman driver of the Lupo, registered to the Totnes area, was said to be uninjured.
The accident blocked one lane of the carriageway and slowed traffic while the scene was cleared.
A Volvo road surfacing vehicle was also damaged in the collision.
The road was clear by 2.30pm.
