THE case against a man who was accused of assault has been dismissed.

Jerermy Britton, 48, of Torquay, was charged with assaulting a woman on May 22 2022 in Teignmouth.
He had pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Magistrates dismissed the case following the non appearance of the complainant.
