Two firefighters from Teignmouth fire station battled 22-degree heat on Sunday (April 27) to complete the London Marathon and raise money for charity.
Firefighter Luke Margrie, whose marathon preparations included running 13 miles along Teignmouth promenade in full uniform, completed the 26.2 mile London Marathon in four hours and 12 minutes.
He has raised £1,274 for The Lauren Page Trust, which supports premature babies, their parents and the medical teams taking care of them.
