He's approachable, friendly, polite and very hard working.
So, yes, he's bought expensive items, legitimately. Ask yourself would none of us have done the same thing? I'm quite sure at least some of us would have. It's always been understood that MPs have had the right to this perk. It's not news.
He has been naive in thinking we wouldn't mind him having 'the best', but that's all he has been, naive not immoral. Give him a chance.
I have on two occasions emailed him to sign a particular EDM with regard to animal welfare. He didn't let me down.
He doesn't let any of us down if he can help it. Let's not condemn him without considering his achievements.
