A new social group for young adults launched in Teignmouth last week aimed at providing a safe space to navigate the transition to adulthood.

Based at the Folk Preservation Society on Fore Street, the group for 16-19 year olds is initially meeting on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings. However, members are also welcome to drop in to the Folk Preservation Society anytime during regular opening hours.

The launch of the young adults group follows the success of the Folk Preservation Society Youth Group, which started earlier this year.

The new young adult group hopes to provide young people with a safe space to consider their own aspirations and open their eyes to all the options available, whether mainstream or a less-trodden path.
