Tidying up overgrown areas outside Teignmouth station is the latest project by the Guerrilla Gardening Group.

The group’s founder, town councillor Dan Comer, said: “This was the first event for the group at the train station, and we appreciate all the volunteers from all generations that turned up to help, a true community event.”

He is planning to set up a weekly working group at the station ‘to keep on top of it and make sure visitors have a clean and bright entrance to our town’.

Cllr Comer thanked all those who have contributed to the group’s ongoing GoFundMe crowdfunder appeal https://gofund.me/f95ad7c8e which is enabling them to buy tools and equipment for their gardening projects.
