A POTHOLE protest – complete with fishing rod and swimming goggles – appears to have worked in Buckfastleigh.

Town councillors and residents, fed up with getting no response to requests to fix local roads, started a photo campaign on social media on Monday pointing at a particularly large water-filled pothole known locally as the ‘Buckfast Chasm’.
