A 27-year-old man arrested after incidents in Teignmouth and Dawlish on Monday night has been charged and will appear in court today (November 26).
‘Connor Sidell, of no fixed abode, Teignmouth, has been charged with Section 18 wounding with intent, robbery, criminal damage and two counts of theft. He is due to appear at Exeter Magistrates’ Court today’ [26 November], a spokesperson from Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed.
Police were notified of reports of an assault in Dawlish and damage to a shop in Teignmouth where a window had been smashed on Monday night (November 24).
Officers then received reports of a man having been assaulted on Second Avenue in Teignmouth. The victim did not attend hospital, and injuries are not believed to be serious.
