A PARISH council in a Teignbridge village has elected its Chairman and Vice-chairman for 2025/26.

At the Kingskerswell Annual Parish Council meeting, held on Tuesday, May 27, Cllr John Radford was elected as Chairman for a fifth term, with Cllr Jane Taylor elected as Vice Chairman for a fourth term.

Cllr Radford told the meeting that he was very pleased to continue to serve the village and residents of Kingskerswell.

Kingskerswell Parish Council is responsible for myriad land and assets, including, but not limited to, Churchway Lane Field and Allotments,Jubilee Woods and Kerswell Downs.

The council is responsible for cutting the grass on the verges and along the roads through the village, weed killing on public roads and footpaths and more.

It also supplies and maintains a number of defibrillators throughout Kingskerswell.
