A SMOKE alarm saved the day after a pan of fat was left on a hob in a Teignmouth flat yesterday (mon) afternoon.
A crew from the resort responded to the second floor flat drama in Higher Woodway Road just after 1pm.
They removed to the pan to a place of safety and then gave suitable advice and ‘reassurance’ to the flat’s occupant.
