WITH brushes in hand, a team of volunteers have given their town's iconic 'letters' a fresh coat of paint.

A common sight for those walking along the section of the South West Coast Path just outside of Teignmouth, the 'Teignmouth Letters' were in need, it is true, of a fresh coat of blue paint.

And so, armed with brushes provided them by Andrew Henderson, Peter and Cate Williams, volunteers set to work on Sunday, April 9, applying a fresh layer.
