Unscheduled drive-thru treat for seaside town

RESIDENTS and holidaymakers were treated to an unscheduled classic car parade on Sunday.

Some of the vehicles were from the Crash Box and Classic Car Club, which had been on show at the Devon County Show.

They were joined by other car owners for a ride around the finer parts of Devon and naturally that had to include Dawlish.

Gazette photographer Bob Simpson happened to be in the right place at the right time to see them pass through the resort.
