BOVEY Tracey’s Young Citizen of the Year will be announced at the annual town meeting.
Every year, the town council celebrates the achievements of youngsters through the awards.
They aim to acknowledge youngsters in Bovey Tracey and Heathfield whose efforts might otherwise go unrecognised.
Town councillors have been particularly keen to hear about any young people who have overcome challenges in their own lives or made a significant difference to others in the community.
Young people aged between seven and 18 have been nominated who have demonstrated a commitment to helping others and making a difference either individually, through a contribution to a group activity or supporting an activity.
The winners will be announced at the annual town meeting on March 29.
