POLICE are appealing for witnesses following yesterday’s crash on the A380 at Telegraph Hill that left a motorcyclist dead.

Officers were called at around 12.40pm on June 10, to the southbound carraigeway near Kennford.

It was reported that the collision involved a pushbike and a motorcycle.

Sadly, the motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene.

His next of kin have been informed.

The cyclist sustained minor injuries.

A spokesperson for Devon & Cornwall Police said: ‘The road was closed at Splatford Split for most of the day, with most traffic being diverted onto the A38.

‘Officers from the Roads Policing Team would like to thank the public for their patience whilst the road was closed.
