TALENTED young tae kwon-do black belt Tiegan Flay is celebrating hearing she has made it into an elite squad training for the Rio Olympics in 2016.
The 15-year-old, who attends Coombeshead Academy, Newton Abbot, faces a gruelling training and coaching regime since hearing she had impressed selectors to make it through to the full time Team GB squad.
Speaking the day after she heard she had made it through the tough selection process, she said: 'I don't think it's really hit me yet.'
Mum Jacqui said: 'I am so proud that she has got through so now she's on her way to Rio.'
