MID Devon Cycling Club duo Kila Kilburn and Jakie Shute were recently in action at round four of the National Trophy Cyclocross in West Bromwich.

Kila continued her stellar form in the V60 category, grabbing second place once again. She was only bested by reigning national champion Tracy Fletcher.

Meanwhile, Jakie battled through the wet and muddy course to secure a sixth-placed finish in the V50 age group.

Next stop is Bradford for round five.

Elsewhere, Robin Delve made the long journey to Samorin, Slovakia, to compete in the prestigious European Masters Cyclocross Championships.

Robin returned home with a bronze medal in the Masters 65-59 category. After a gritty and determined ride on a challenging course, Rob secured a well-earned spot on the podium.

Reflecting on the race, he said: “Great race—couldn’t have done any more. Really pleased to be on the podium.”

This result is a testament to Robin's dedication, resilience, and passion for the sport.
