AS A culmination of the year's action at Teignmouth Golf Club, the Champion of Champions Day brought together winners from all the individual competitions held through the year.... and what a talented field of ladies it was.

18 players who had proved themselves as team players to achieve well in the Devon county comps, including retaining the Still Cup, now pitted their skills against one another.

After an even front nine, the back nine was going to prove the test, but even then, the final scores were tight.

Kathryn Protheroe took third place on countback from Lorraine Dunn, both players scoring 35 points.

Just ahead of them on 36 was second-placed Rosie Arnold and the winner, with 37 points, was Liz Tough, who carded a brilliant 21 points on the way in. Congratulations to you Liz!
