To celebrate New Cross entering its 10th year in 2017, the club have produced a charity calendar, with help from Nigel Stanbury and James Morley-Smith of Lemon Valley Studio.

‘To have been going for 10 years is a massive achievement for a small club,’ said club secretary Amy Taylor.

‘In April we raised more than £1,000 for Meningitis UK and Cancer Research, and as we like to alternate charities when raising money, we decided to go with the Oddballs Foundation this time round.’

Calendars, which are £6 each, can be purchased through any of the players or club members, or Facebook, as well as from the Kingsteignton RBL club.

Proceeds will be split between New Cross RFC and The Oddballs Foundation (testicular cancer).
