LAST week F2R member Mandi Robson participated in the Cardiff 'Pretty Muddy 5K' in aid of Cancer Research.
It was a fun course, with plenty of mud and obstacles and all for a fantastic charity. On the same day. Becky Abbott completed the Jurassic Coast 10k, in a fantastic time of 1.03. The event was very well run and all proceeds went to the FORCE Cancer charity, Exeter.
It was the 20th anniversary and Becky is already planning on going to the next one!
On Sunday, May 11, Lydia Hayman and Faye Hussey headed to Bideford for the 10k, finishing in a fantastic time of 1.09.
Not only did they receive a super medal but also a huge local ice cream at the finish. Again, the event supported a worthy charity in 'Children's Hospice South West'.
If you would like to join F2R, a friendly, ladies-only running group, please go along at 6:45pm on Tuesday or Thursday to The Rec.
