TEIGNBRIDGE Trotters enjoyed a successful evening at the South Devon Relays, held at the Torbay Velopark in Paignton on Friday, August 7.

This popular event attracted clubs from across the South West, with teams of four runners each completing a fast 3km relay leg around the closed-circuit course.

The club produced some excellent performances, with both the men's and women's teams finishing second overall. There was further success in the veterans' categories, where Trotters claimed first place in both the FV50 and FV60 competitions.

Warm conditions made for challenging racing, but there was a fantastic atmosphere throughout the evening, with plenty of support and encouragement from teammates and spectators. The relay format created an exciting spectacle, allowing runners to follow the action and cheer each other on around the course.
