A WOMAN suffered serious injuries when her car ended up in the central reservation at the bottom of Telegraph Hill on the A380 this morning (Wednesday).

Police and paramedics dealt with the incident at Splatford Split, Kennford, when the alarm was raised just after 11am.

A police spokesman said the woman’s car appeared to have suffered a flat tyre – but the exact circumstances of the accident remained unclear.

It’s not known whether the woman’s car had collided with the central reservation or been in a collision with another vehicle.

An air ambulance helicopter landed at the scene, prompting road closures and diversions on to the A30.
