Teignbridge's motorists will have five road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

But drivers will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that five closures are due to start this week:

A30, from 9pm April 11 to 4am April 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 31 exit slip road to A30 lane closure for electrical works.

A38, from 8pm April 17 to 6am April 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Peartree A385 to Goodstone A383 (Ashburton) lane closures and convoy working for white lining.

A38, from 8pm April 17 to 6am April 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Splatford Split junction, Kennford to Belvedere Cross carriageway closure for road markings, diversion via A380 Telegraph Hill and local road past Exeter Racecourse.

A38, from 8pm April 17 to 6am April 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Linhay B3352 entry slip road closed for white lining, diversion, A38 westbound to Peartree A385 and return.

A38, from 8pm April 17 to 6am April 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Goodstone exit slip road closed for white lining, diversion, A38 eastbound to Drumbridges A382 and return via minor roads through Bickington.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
