THERE is a full day’s rugby at Newton Abbot RFC’s Rackerhayes ground on Sunday when all four Devon Colts competition finals are due to take place.

First out of the dressing room for a 10.30am kick-off are Exmouth and Totnes, who will contest the Colts Bowl on the second-team pitch.

Arch rivals Tiverton and Cullompton are booked-in for the Colts Plate final on the Westaway’s sponsored main pitch at 11.30am.

Torquay Athletic Colts take on South Molton at 1.30pm on the main pitch.

The highlight of the day is the Colts Cup final for the historic Devonshire Regiment Trophy, in which Sidmouth and Ivybridge will battle it out from 3.30pm.

Newton Abbot First XV passed-up an opportunity to face Sidmouth for a place in the Devon Intermediate Cup final when team-raising issues obliged them to withdraw from a home semi-final.
