TWO members of Fit2Run were amongst the 552-strong field for the Teignbridge Trotters’ annual Totnes 10k race on Sunday, August 3.

It was a sold out event that saw the runners tackle the hills and woodlands of the beautiful Dartington Estate.

F2R duo Hayley Bignell and Becky Abbott were in action, Hayley finishing in 1:12:37 (a personal best) and Becky in 1:15:53. Hayley was delighted with her PB considering the August heat and the killer hills!

Meanwhile, in rainy Cornwall, Lucy Wooley completed the Indian Queens half marathon. Despite the unseasonable weather, Lucy enjoyed the mainly flat course which winds round the scenic countryside just outside Newquay and romped home in a time of 2:07.
