Residents can learn about conservation projects in and around Buckfastleigh later this month at the Buckfastleigh Action for Nature annual general meeting.
The community group, which is aimed at protecting biodiversity in Buckfastleigh and the surrounding area, will explain what it’s been up to and outline plans for the coming year. There will also be a range of talks on the group’s verges project, open gardens, pollinator project, pine marten project and the conservation and ecology of the greater horseshoe bat.
The Buckfastleigh Action for Nature Group’s annual general meeting takes place from 2pm until 4pm on Saturday November 22 at the Moor Imagination Centre on Chapel Street.
The organisers are requesting that those wishing to attend email [email protected] so they have an idea of numbers.
